Of the 34 current members of the Missouri State Senate, only six are women. Of those six, one is a Republican. I’m running to make sure progressive women’s issues continue to have a strong voice in Jefferson City.
Republican majorities in the House and Senate believe only men should be making decisions about women’s health issues and reproductive rights. It would be a mistake for the Democratic Party to reduce the voice of women in the Missouri Senate when women across this nation are fighting back against Republican extremism.
